On the output side of the RGBW receiver are 5 screw-in terminals. The receiver has two options for connecting power: a standard 2.1 female plug or screw-in terminals. The receiver connects inline between your power supply and the strip. There is no IR eye that you need line-of-sight to the controller, it works with a radio frequency. We provide a male 5-pin wiring harness that connects from the receiver to your strips. This works great with many of our 12Vdc power-supplies, that have a 2.1mm male plug on the output.
